Our Heritage and Foundation
Mountain Top University is proudly owned by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), a global Christian missionary organisation founded by Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya.
While the vision for the Ministry was received in August, its formal commencement took place in July 1989. Starting with just 24 members, the organisation has grown to reach millions of worshippers worldwide, conducting missionary activities across more than 40 nations. As a full-gospel ministry, MFM is steadfastly devoted to the revival of apostolic signs.
The core mission of MFM is the holistic liberation of individuals from all forms of oppression through the teaching of biblical principles and the application of prayer for a victorious life. It is upon this foundation that Mountain Top University was established.
The University operates under the legal framework established by the Education (National Minimum Standards and Establishment of Institutions) Decree No. 9 of 1993, which provides the guidelines for the development of private universities in Nigeria.
The University at a Glance
